VIPRPG is a collection of parody RPGs created by users from the Japanese forum 2channel. While it has no direct link to Japan's House of Councillors, the term "Sangiin Election" is often used humorously in VIPRPG games. These games frequently parody real-world systems, and political themes like elections are turned into comical or exaggerated gameplay elements. The formal and quirky sound of "Sangiin" makes it a popular subject for satire. In essence, VIPRPG uses the idea of elections, including the Sangiin, as a source of creative and comedic content rather than political commentary.
Never heard of it, but sounds cool. What are some VIPRPGs you'd recommend?
I really want to vent my personal opinion here, but
I thought the Magician's Association was the only one I couldn't accept, and I had a physiological aversion to it, but when I tried to put it into words as best I could, first of all, I don't like the idea of it being a completely original character.
They say it's all about magic, all about families, and all about changing colors, but even that is a form of respect for the existing worldview.
That's why I also didn't like the purely original character Filia, who has a blatant military foreignness, but since it
's just Filia alone, I have a strong aversion to the brazenness of her family coming in and saying, "In this world, there is an organization called the Magician's Association, and we are its members."
And yet, unlike Gyokuro, which had the appearance of a military, there was no organizational detail, and there was no clear reason for the members to act together.
If it was a union of magicians, it wouldn't be strange for existing magician characters to be members in a dual role, but that's not the case, and it's independent and mysterious.
I can't find a more convincing reason for its existence than the mysterious "weird original character organization forced by SDS"...
VIPRPG is also like a natural pond, so I think various creatures (original characters) will be born, but the Magician's Guild alone feels like an exotic place, like SDS has released pets he raised in an aquarium at home. I
simply don't think the design is good, and to be honest, I can't tell them apart from Ashley and Azekura, who I often see.
They all have the same hat and witch-like design, and I don't like the existing materials.
Also, well, this is a bit blunt, but I personally dislike SDS, the creator.
