>>49723743nta but Ryu(eastern dragon) usually have rain/river affinity and are divine beings that give water to help humans and such, also sage-like and related to the emperor and such.
The term dragon nowadays is used... for really a lot of stuff, anything from snakes to weird scaly creatures around the world.
>>49724964Mostly yes I think. With Ryu it's usually just one every.... a lot. All I can remember for evil Ryuu would be Orochi(might be more of a snake) and Kuzuryu (nine headed dragon).
>>49724970Kinda? The Norse had Fafnir with the gold hoarding (but poison breath iirc), in old Greek stuff you have also snakes/drakon that are either guardians of treasure or evil stuff to be slain by a hero or god. There's also Tiamat even if she's more water related(like a lot of mythical dragons I guess). Egypt also had Apep as le bad dark snake. So the evil snake/dragon idea seems to be there even before Christian influence.
