So...Now What?
Over the last few years I went through 1CCing almost all Touhou games, reading (again) almost all the official manga, playing some fangames, etc.
Now I feel a little unsure where to go for more of this shit
Twitter and Discord sounds like Hell
Does it all amount to enjoying the games then talking about them on /jp/
Kinda feels like I missed out on the best era by a decade or so

Don't worry about that. Just enjoy what you have, and avoid Twitter, Discord and Reddit circlejerks

Did you play the fightans as well? Also wich games have you yet to 1CC?
As it's been said already, you're free and welcome to discuss 2hu and 2hus here on /jp/.

The only other canon stuff I've noticed you didn't mention are the music CD stories and the written works.
Touhou is THE doujin series. There is a bottomless well of fan works out there. Have you read any doujinshi? Watched fan animations?
I just follow artists and circles I like and don't engage with the community beyond /jp/.

I think I left off at LOLK so from that onwards, as for the fighting games no didn't really feel like going through that single player but I have watched videos on fun character interactions / stories from there

Actually SFW Doujinshi was probably gonna be my next route, seems like a fun little avenue to travel down

Now you give up and move on. Everyone else already did a long time ago

Don't worry, I've been on /jp/ for 10 years exactly (came here c. March 2015), it was always fun and posting in Touhou threads always had a great range from base level horny and shitposty to in-depth lore. You're in a good place with a lot of smart and creative people

Only time /jp/ was dark was in the early days of vt*bers before /vp/ when vtumors overran the entire damn board

We could always go back.
For a while at least, and old school thread or two.

I kinda feel like doing that after 1cc all of the relevant games, but at the same time I feel like there is more touhou to enjoy.
Just kind of a shame that most of the old school doujin artists have either moved on, or have stopped entirely.

I also recommend SFW doujinshi. the way I've been going through them is by reading all the ones on dynasty scans in chronological order: https://dynasty-scans.com/doujins/touhou_project?page=130&view=chapters

some redditor also made this, which aims to index every single translated doujinshi. haven't used it yet, but looks promising: https://scarlet.nanoskript.dev/

honestly untranslated seems like good nihongo practice too
there are tons of ancient relics ready to be read and transport me back to 2007

apparently that second link is also indexing untranslated doujinshi, so that should help you, too

Sure. Here's some authors you can check out. I posted a list once a while ago and I've built on it since. I favor comedy more than other genres but its not exclusive. Order is alphabetical.
- ALISON. Especially The Immortals Who Saw the Death of the Universe.
- Aozora Market
- bkub
- Bomber Grape
- Fuantei
- Haniwa's Store. Miko Miko Suika was one of my first reads and a personal favorite.
- Hole of Yago
- Karaagetarou. Stories are a cute, colorful blend of humor and heartwarming.
- Millet Soup
- Minato Hitori
- Omchicken
- Opagi
- Public Planet. Especially if you're an Akyuu fan.
- Setz. Both his Finnish 4koma and his Prismriver story.
- Tako
- Zounose

Some particular works:
- Cis' Soga no Tojiko Will Not Talk. Drama. Forever unfinished. I love how Futo is drawn in this.
- Colonel Aki's Life of Maid. A silent 4koma featuring life in the SDM.
- Fuente's Parsee-chan Does Not Cry!
- Futa (Nabezko)'s 4koma
- Koyama Shigeru's Mamange and spin-offs. Long running and ongoing.
- Tani Takeshi's 4koma. I love his osa-yukkuri. Long running but likely finished.
- Touhou Tag Dream. Incomplete, never will be finished. Touhous and wrestling in a Kinnikuman-inspired 4koma.

A particular shout-out to this story for embedding itself into my head ever since I first read it years ago.

And of course, there's always the doujin works of the artists selected to draw official works.
- Aki Eda
- Azuma Aya
- Hirasaka Makoto
- Mizutataki
