I like EoSD as much as the next guy. It has one of my favorite soundtracks in the series alongside 1, 3, 7, and 10 and the cast is pretty good all around too but Touhou has a lot more to offer outside of it, both after and before it. And no, I don't think the meme version of Bad Apple counts as PC-98 representation; it's basically its own song.

Only having EoSD is good, though. Anything that helps gatekeep the actually good characters is a win for Touhou.
