When it comes to Japanese games, the vibe is all different when I know the English option is just there.

Its not like back in the day when knowing Japanese opened up a wealth of access. You could play the the Final Mix of Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 with some Japanese knowledge. All the extra features, bosses, etc.
Now I just have the option to switch to English. Same with every game. It no longer feels Im opening up my world, feels like Im limiting it since it will be more difficult to understand the game.
To cure this problem I was looking for Japanese ONLY games on Steam. Give me some moderately popular title that is only Japanese. It doesnt even really matter what it is. Just the fact Im gaining access to something new I wouldnt have before. It makes the mining process crucial, rather than just for the sake of challenge. However there is literally nothing. I cannot find a Japanese only steam game that isnt dogwater RPG maker TRASH.

I guess I can just larp that English isnt an option, but Idk. It feels like artificial value. The truth, there is just too many eyes on Japan now. So everything is translated. Just kinda sucks.
