People with fieldable thermal systems FAR outnumber the people with decent tube-based NV. I can walk into at least three local gun shops that have decent thermal sights in stock (gstuff like Pulsar, Trijicon) and we're not even in a part of the country that has hogs to hunt. Meanwhile, I am the ONLY person I know with Gen 3 NV, let alone L3 unfilmed, let alone duals, let alone a 640 thermal clip on on top of all that.
