Okay, so see my words out...

Laser pointers, helicopter pilots hate them, jet fighter pilots also hate them, here in Alberta it's ILLEGAL to point lasers at helicopter pilots because of the implications, (the light temporarily stuns and debuffs/blinds the pilot long enough so that they lose control of the flying machine and then crash) and the cops'll pump tons of resources into arresting you for, especially if you get the RCMP's attention.

Now, all bootlicking aside, if the RCMP suddenly want you in handcuffs, you know you fucked up, big time, so it should come as no surprise that I am making a suggestion for both sides, xoxols (slavs) and vatniks (slavs also) to destroy drone optical systems, JUST USE LASERS.

We all know that the human eye is infinitely more sophisticated than any man-made camera lens in the world, technology cannot and never will replicate the skill and accuracy with which human eyes can see, because we don't fully understand the human eye, that's why camera lenses don't look or function like human eyes.

With this said, when you point a laser at a human eye, it causes discomfort, it blinds, it burns, etc...

So if camera lenses are weaker and more primitive than human eyes, it can safely be assumed that a laser will do only so much more damage to the camera lens on a drone.

Therefore, soldiers must be equipped with laser pointers to destroy camera lenses on drones, discuss.

if you can successfully point a laser at a drone to blind it you can successfully shot it down with a rifle.

Now please, go back.

*was* in prison. During a court hearing, he picked up one of the confiscated lasers from the evidence table and blinded everyone. The judge, the ballif, his lawyer, everyone. Then he skipped town and remains on the run. He might even get in thos very thread :o

Yeah cause handheld laser pointers weigh EXACTLY the same as a fully loaded automatic weapon system with extra attatchments like optics or underbarrel grenade launchers, stupid benjamin franklin looking ass.

next time do a bit of searching before retard posting
because you are a retard brain you dont know drones dont need optics to hit their target

One that is strong enough to completely burn out the sensor and renders it inoperable (not just "whoops dead pixels") at a long distance with only short exposure? Yeah.

>In 2025, a cracked anon was sent to prison by a court of law for a crime he didn't commit. Anon promptly escaped from a maximum security courtroom by lasing the court officers and fled to the Alberta underground. Today, still wanted by the Mounties he survives as a soldier of fortune. If your cat needs some exercise, if no one else can help, and if you can find him....maybe you can hire The Laser Anon..

there is already a highly effective way of handling drones, atleast on the defensive
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-b51C82-UE
theoretically you could place several of these cameras on different trucks driving around, or hell even on drones, and have the position constantly being sent to a set of machine guns that will make very short work of any drone
>but this isnt useful for one guy
you dont go out and fight a war as one guy you'd have a dedicated infantry/tank support team doing this

Retarded. Not only will it be a lot harder to directly hit the dime sized camera lens on an already tiny drone than it is to refract your laser off the cockpit of a helicopter and dazzle the pilots, but it'll give away your location if the drone pilot does see the laser and it doesn't blind the camera (if you see what lasers do to cameras, it usually just leaves a trail of spots or a splotch, but the rest of the FOV is fine.

Q.E.D. dumb idea, shove your laser up your ass before you harm someone else.
