let me try and understand what you are saying first. You want to take off the telescoping stock recoil tube with the three indents and put a sporting stock recoil tube in its place? As one of the anons who did this myself, it is such a pain in the ass, involving torch, vice grips, etc to get that nut off and take the tube off. It's messy and another anon who attempted it ended up bending parts of the receiver they were not meant to bend... My recommendation if you can afford it is to just buy a sporting stock (the ones that don't come with the pistol grip) Benelli M4 and swap the furniture to the Turkish wood stocks.

I have shot some pistols there, but it’s too short a distance to have any fun shooting rifles.

Honestly both countries are sort of cooked but for different, albeit similar reasons. Canada is sort of in the process of losing some of its advantages in an attempt to pursue the century initiative.
