Not much of a thing on fired cases. A lot of ballistic forensics that you see in media is bunk, IIRC every state that did/does require a bullet casing to be submitted to law enforcement has stopped allowing casings to be submitted as evidence barring unusual circumstances. There are techniques that can pull fingerprints from fired cases but they're relatively expensive and still not particularly reliable and fingerprint based identification is coming under question anyways.
