Iranian ballistic missiles are largely liquid fueled, not solid So there is a lot of loading, unloading, standing around, etc going on.
This is also why their response has been so marginal; there is little value in a stockpile of thousands of TBMs if you cannot safely stage and deploy them. Iran will be mostly limited to their MRBM solutions, as anything else can't be launched from the safety of eastern Iran/Pakistani boarder AND hit Israel still.
They're likely in the middle of salvaging and transporting everything they can as far east as possible at this very moment for some last few "hoo-rah" strikes at Tel Aviv or Jerusalem

The entire Russian space launch systems started as icmbs because the ukranian in charge wanted to go to space and basically tricked the military into developing his space vehicles, one of the reasons the americans won the space race after they formed nasa is because a lot of the soviet top tier people in the space tech probably died in the Nedelin catastrophe.
