I can't speak for that anon, but, no. It's the opposite problem. Needs real wood, actual hand-cut checkering, the recoil pad needs to be properly cut at the toe of the stock, the lever needs to be rounded off a bit more, and a blued finish instead of stainless.

Though, I won't argue about the practicality of the stainless finish and laminated stock. It might not look anything special, but it will last in the weather.
