So he is saying that the information about more than one downed is inaccurate. He then goes on to mention WW2 and how losses happened but you can't say that the Allies lost because of troop losses. He then says it is better than the F-35 in multirole and much better than Chinese aircraft and only the F-22 in terms of fighter role is better.

Much like for any aircraft crash, see the Indian one (again) that made 200 victims the other day. Boeing has to know as soon as possible if there's any hazard to ensure safety for the other manufactured aircraft in active use. This is how you continuously improve reliability. Same for any fighter jet, ESPECIALLY during an ongoing conflict where they are in use. Any potential point of failure, whatever it may be, from the plane itself to the way it was used, must be know and fixed as soon as possible.
