More like Patton was rational in a crazy situation. He realized the truth about the European portion of WW2 and how America was deceived into helping the spread of Stalinism and demanded that America rearm the Germans and Axis aligned non-Germans regardless of personal political affiliation and drive the Soviets out of Central and most of Eastern Europe.

Lemay got the M16 adopted in the USAF so he's the most based.

Easily MacArthur. His cobalt solution was wasteful, inefficient, and pointless. LeMay if anything was overly cautious and calculating.

Nobody drove burgers into being gullible retards. Vatniks started out the war publicly allied with the germans slicing up east europe. Anybody, like their ambassadors from east euro, would have testified how they are the same shit, different pile.

The choice to simp stalin was conscious and deliberate from the highest level

Hey man, I may think that MacArthur was a bloodthirsty madman, but that doesn't mean that he didn't also sometimes have the right ideas.

He helped rebuild Japan after WW2, and he was dedicated to killing Communists in Korea afterwards. Neither of those turned out 100% perfect in all aspects, but they were good ventures which had a lot of good outcomes (Japan becoming a more civilized country, and many dead Communists respectively).

FWIW i know a (actual) baby boomer who grew up around Lemay and his opinion is that Curtis Lemay was one of the nicest people he ever met.
