shit what do you even do in that situation. that airport probably isnt prepared or able to handle a fucking f35 landing there, and thats really fucking scary to have show up out of the blue. spooky bois in black suits showing up at your door in 35 second spooky. do you just let the military rock up and just say yes to everything they demand.

lets flip this to some bumfuck nowhere hobbiest airport in the middle of kansas or something. redneck airfield ran by cletus and his buddies on the weekends to fly their home welded prop planes. suddenly a fucking f35 happens to go down RIGHT ABOVE YOU and lands at your barely fucking recognizable field. what do. drive away as fast as possible and go innawoods for a few weeks since my names cletus and i live in a town of 500 people with 8 last names?

The British and Indian navies were conducting joint exercises just a few days ago, it would be a bad look on India to not return their exercises partnersโ€™ jet fighters, whatever monetary gain India could get by selling the F35 to Russia is worth less than the loss of the training which comes with conducting joint exercises with more experienced militaries, after countries start refusing to conduct military exercises with India

Some people like you are sperging about this but frankly it's unlikely to amount to anything. No, India isn't a close ally, but they aren't an enemy either, they've got ample reason to be worried about China (not least an outright land border fight ongoing), and ample reason to want to walk the line with respect to the US. As a practical matter as well we've moved beyond the point where a teardown would even do India much good. Most of the most challenging aspects of the F-35 or other advanced aircraft is in manufacturing and maintenance. Having a modern ultra advanced superalloy turbine blade in your hand gives you exactly zero help in making one of your own. Same with fabricating silicon or nearly anything else in there. You can't anything useful out of the computers, and even if you did decompile some of it everything will be ultra specific to the system and constantly getting worked on.

Not that the poos can't act like retards on many occasions so who knows for sure. But given Modi pays at least some attention to national (or at last his) interests I'd actually be mildly surprised if they didn't just figure out something no big deal. Perhaps they do some photo op or whatever. But it's not worth burning any bridges for.

The bong and american governments get in contact with the indian government (indeed, already will have long since, possibly before it even actually touched down making an emergency landing) and work something out, probably sending in their own maintenance and parts. Maybe they make some payment, maybe not (because India isn't outright hostile, and has been working hard on doing a new trade deal with American which is worth a shitload of money, and there's been plenty of military dealings over the last few years). Sure probably take some pictures but big whoop at this point.

the latest Block 20 version of the FA-50 ordered by Poland and Malaysia is better than the previous version as it had newer capabilities and can be considered as a "mini-MRCA" with AESA radar and AIM-120 capabilities which put them on par with F-35 and older aircraft like Gripen, Rafale, F-18F Superhornet and F-15EX. The FA-50 capability is as good as a Multi Role Combat Aircraft, a bigger and more expensive fighter jet. The RMAF FA-50 has completely changed the equation in the region and will be the most advanced aircraft in region.

The biggest problem facing RMAF right now is the insufficient number of fighter aircraft in service. With only 8 F/A 18D, 18 Su 30MKM and 16 BAE Hawk, despite Malaysia having a large airspace. Malaysian main weakness is to fifth generation aircraft as Su-30MKM is superior to F-18F/F-15E.
