What kind of retarded ragebait reply is this? The silencers were for my 10/22s; being able to throw it on my Bobcat for fun was just a fun thing on the side to be able to experiment with silencing pistols. The sights are so low that even a 1" tube obstructs them. From my experience I learned that a, what, 2" barrel or whatever it has, doesn't get all that quiet. That will help me a lot when it comes time to put one on a Ruger MK (which is a handgun I do want to silence) as I know I definitely need to go longer.

In .32 it's one of my favorite pistols I've ever shot and worked flawlessly, also super fun to shoot when suppressed.

This was the first gun I ever fired at 12 y.o., my dad took me out with his PPK in .380, I hated it and I still hate it. The gun feels like it's purposely covered in sharp edges and the ultra stiff recoil spring wants to catch your skin in the ejection port. It is painful in every way. (conversely a Makarov in 9x18 is a joy to shoot, go figure)

The other he had me shoot was a Ruger snub nose .357, which was a cake walk compared to the PPK. At 12 y.o. 357 flashbangs are fun when they reverb off the shooting range stall.

This was completely the wrong way to introduce a new shooter to firearms, but today I am still at it.

I fully acknowledge that it is an irrational dislike. AR is a FUNCTIONAL gun. It gets the job done. It just works.

SAA Colt is literally one of the most iconic and beloved firearm in the world. It's recognized by anyone who's seen any decent Western movie. I own 3, 4.75", 5.5" and 7.5". The only handgun that event remotely feels as natural when aiming is a 1911.

I don't hate the SAA, but I hate how movies and TV have memed it into being perceived as the most popular gun of the wild west by far. Nearly every damn western has the SAA in almost everyone's hands despite the era being full of a huge variety of revolvers and even semi auto pistols in the later years (shoutout to Unforgiven, The Wild Bunch, and Tall Tale).
