I think we have to seriously consider the possibility that Tehran nukes telaviv, both to stem their own losses, because they have the full backing of the US and China, both of whom America is threatening territoriality. This is a proxy war America clearly organised in the first place so it's not as though America entering the war is a black and white issue, if America entered Iran, Russia would probably follow. Hence America arms isreal and China arms Iran. And also consider how if the US couldn't get a carrier in the gulf, they might struggle to get air escort over Iran, I suspect someone probably tapped Trump on the shoulder about that yesterday

So Iran has both reason, capacity and context in which to carry out a limited nuclear strike on isreal

Either they believe they can eke out a stalemate without that or they simply can't nuke Israel at all.
Probably they don't have bombs in a ready state in the same location as their missiles and either can't get a warhead ready or can't get it to a delivery system.

Not to mention, most of their missiles are getting intercepted over Jordan or Iraq so they're most likely going to nuke one of those, not Israel. Or at least contaminate some desert with nuclear material anyway.
