What will happen here once WW3 finally pops off?

Pretty sure Venezuela will be in the Russia/China/Iran axis but what about the rest? Will Argentina ally with Chile, despite them wanting to invade and take all of Patagonia during their entire history? Will Brazil join the "BRICS" axis, against Chile, despite them being historically very close allies? I think the clearest line is the "Alliance of the Pacific" (Chile, Peru and Colombia) going against Venezuela/Cuba/Cuba/Nicaragua, with El Salvador and Argentina possibly joining. Brazil is a wildcard, it could go either way. Or just nothing happens against and they remain neutral happy to sell food and raw materials to the actual belligerent countries.

Either way, all these countries except Brazil really lack a MIL industry large and capable enough to supply themselves, they don't manufacture any sophisticated weapons, they barely manufacture rifles and ammo themselves. No mention the insane amount of internal resistance against the war and possibly insurgency too.

Brazil becomes the key regional power along with Chile and Argentina. Venezuela is poor like Cuba despite having oil, and their row with Guyana isn't winning them any friends. Columbia, Bolivia, Uruguay, and Paraguay are all irrelevant

For a good reason. Armies here are destabilizing forces and a threat to both the economy and internal security. They can't be trusted and should be either disbanded or defunded into obsolescence and combat ineffectiveness as we have.

Our governments will keep being shit and corrupt, maybe China will take over more of our countries industries.

The Brazilian military is traditionally anti-commie and still has loads of boomers in high command that wouldn't put up with a leftoid president telling them to support any side besides the US side.

The artillery park is all tube artillery from WW2. The armored and mechanized component amounts to a handful of Gavins and a few dozen Marder IFVs with turrets that cosplay as tanks. With no ERA/NERA/APS and no thermals or NVGs I might add. The navy consists of single seaworthy MEKO frigate, that's it.
