>A British F-35B stealth fighter remains grounded at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in India, six days after an emergency landing forced by a suspected hydraulic failure.
https://defence-blog.com/british-f-35-still-grounded-at-indian-airport/

Is this a deliberate tech-transfer where the F-35 is 'accidentally' left for India to study?

>Sources said The RN F-35B, which was operating from an aircraft carrier in the Indian Ocean, requested permission for emergency landing after it became low on fuel. The fighter jet made repeated attempts to land on the carrier but rough sea conditions prevented that happening, forcing the pilot to seek permission to land at the airport for refuelling.

You do realise the "can't go in heavy weather" is bullshit, RAM coating is damaged by heavy rain at high speeds naturally, sure, but that doesn't mean it can't still fly in it, it's just the attrition rate of the skin is faster.
This is the same problem that all stealth aircraft have.

Letting the Brits have it was a mistake. This is the second time they've allowed an F-35 to be potentially taken by a non-treaty state. The first time because the retards left an engine intake blank installed.

Brits made a lot of the crucial components for it during development and still are, recently though one of the courts almost did a Germany and ended all F35 production if the planes were going to be used in war, judge found against the pro-Palestinians who brought it to the court.

They funded 10% of the initial development cost and later bought the planes, and the judge ordered against the plantiffs so there is no problem?

Because as I've mentioned, this is the second time they have been unable to recover a plane in a timely manner for non-combat reasons. No doubt some jeet contractors for Russia are checking it out as we speak.

Yes, landing and failing due to a hydraulic issue, otherwise it would have taken off by now. It's had a group of bong engineers looking at it for a week so far trying to fix it to get it airborne.

Thiruvananthapuram has been designated as a diversion airfield for British naval aircraft operating in the region before the incident, it's not that weird or unexpected (According to chinese media).
The indians dont appear to be doing anything with the aircraft?
Besides, the Chinese are backing Pakistan, that's why the US is considering selling india F35's.

Anonymous No.63871742 [Report]

First time they had to recover it from the bottom of the sea.
Second time it landed on an uneasy allies airfield. Do you think India is in a position to steal an F35 politically kek, the bongs always had this airfield as an option for emergencies that's why they used it, and used it before.

Your Russian connection is farfetched? Their relationship is purely contractual, their diplomacy with the UK is still pretty strong, plus there are bong engineers there.
If the "Russians" wanted to steal anything regarding the stealth technology they would have had plenty of opportunity when a stealth drone was captured peacemeal by Iran kek.

Historically UK engineers have had lower crash rates on aircraft per flight hour than US engineers when comparing same for same, 2 aircraft is an anomaly.

>Implying the US safely recovers aircraft in a timely manner
>On 24 January 2022, a USN F-35C (tail number 169304) with VFA-147 suffered a ramp strike while landing on the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) and was lost overboard in the South China Sea. Seven crew members were injured, while the pilot ejected safely and was recovered from the water. On 2 March 2022, the aircraft was recovered from a depth of about 12,400 ft (3,780 m) with the aid of a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and DSCV Picasso, a deep-diving ship.

But that's bullshit. Locksneed makes the F-22 stealth coating, for example. It's not beyond America to make the components. Companies around the world bid for contracts, and usually the cheapest one wins.

Because finding and recovering an aircraft at the bottom of the huge sea is very difficult, and is particularly difficult when you have no idea when or where it was lost by the USN.
The sea is massive, it took the bongs always week and a half to even find the F35 they dropped after they borrowed a US deep sea sonar pull drone they keep in Spain, though that one was near 4km under the sea so yeah not an easy spot amongst the sea floor rubble and flora. Specialist tools and so on.

It would be extremely difficult for the chinks to do it with the USN watching also. It wasn't dropped near the Chinese coast.
