New report by the Conflict Intelligence Team on T-90M production.
https://notes.citeam.org/eng_t90
>According to our estimates, Uralvagonzavod produced 60-70 T-90M tanks in 2022. In 2023, amid efforts to mobilize the defense industry, output may have increased to 140-180 tanks, and by 2024, it may have surpassed 200 units annually, possibly approaching a production rate of 250-300 tanks per year.

This means they're upgrading tanks to T-90s and not actually making new tank hulls, right?

Probably the new hulls that were meant to be delivered to India. The numbers are probably something like 100 new hulls a year and 100 refits for old shit that are being brought upto "modern" standards.
Not that it helps them as they are inadequately protected for the current war.

t-90m frontal arc protection is still adequate against m829a3, at the very least.

From all the information available within russia itself, factory production of T-72/T-90 hulls stopped by mid-90s and the MIC pivoted to reusing old stocks, where tanks from storage bases would be used to "manufacture new tanks". It's only a question of how deep the modernization/refurbishing efforts are for a specific tank, i.e. some of them get a basic maintenance package to get them back to life, with some basic trinkets thrown in like a new NVG or something. Others have new engines, better FCS and so on. Some, like the T-90M, also have new turrets (welded, because casting production died together with hull production). So even the most modern variant which needs the most changes still is inherently a tank taken from the storage yards and stripped down to the basic hull for deep modernization.

Vely implessive, that's almost enough production each year to compensate for the losses sustained in one month.

Why are these faggots complaining about the pidors only managing to make 250-300 new tanks a year when its a low number, it confirms the rest are all just refurbishments.

Goddamn all these fucking conflicts and large scale military operations have made this board a shitfest.
