It's a heck of a lot cheaper to purchase, maintain, and operate. Probably a fair bit harder to pick up on radar, as well, since it combines the B-2's low-RCS shaping with modern RAM. And it's designed to at a minimum carry one MOP, which means it has enough payload for just about any mission. Sure, it would've taken 14xB-21 to carry out this strike, but that's a lot easier to pull off when you have 100+ of the things, and having more of them available means you can be doing more things at the same time.

Real answer is hidden behind secrecy
Radar cross section (especially vs long waves), and tech (like active radar cancellation) behind it.
Energy based countermeasures (lasers and HPM).
These things would be secret at least 50 years or maybe even 100 years. Then you will get you real answer.
