do you take russia seriously anymore?
>>63881390 (OP)I never took russia seriously
>>63881390 (OP)Because of their leader they're more dangerous to their own side than to enemy
>>63881390 (OP)As a threat to its immediate neighbors? Yeah, they're still a problem. As a global superpower? They lost that distinction nearly a decade before I was born
so when is the new update getting released
>>63881390 (OP)The myth of ww2 has finally washed off and they have returned to their historical performance.
They are only dangerous for micro states bordering them, and in any peer to peer war, like ukraine, they get stalemated to bleed out.
only effective tool they have is subversive propaganda to poison normal societies from the inside out via social media. Since it turns out propaganda designed for idiots (russian serfs) is also attractive to western morons
>>63881495>only effective tool they have is subversive propaganda to poison normal societies from the inside out via social media. Since it turns out propaganda designed for idiots (russian serfs) is also attractive to western moronsare you sure they're russians, because if you engage with them like they were russians you get half a dozen responding to you at once ie. thats what they want to engage with.. when you call them out for NOT being russians and merely pretending to make "pro-russians" look like morons who cannot tell their ass from a hole in the ground they genuinely start seething and the threads die shortly afterwards if you insist on your point
the only thing they do is make killing russians socially acceptable
>>63881390 (OP)Of course, they just haven't taken the gloves off yet.
>>63881390 (OP)>anymoreYou're better off asking one of the other boards which didn't have war as a main topic.
>>63881390 (OP)Militarily? No, not even their nukes as it's doubtful they still work. Their ability to infiltrate nations and fuel pointless infighting to destabilize with propaganda that can effectively target "muh minority opinion" chuds? Yes.
no, they're like Iran where their only true capabilities are manipulating retards on the internet like

Counter point. Russia is stronger than the US.
The last war the US fought itself was the first Iraq invasion in the early 90s. And that was just them taking all their Cold War build up and rolling it over Iraq.
From then on every war the US fought it used other countries to do it, swooped in at the end when they're already weak.
Balkan wars US funded jihadis to weaken governments, then bombed from distance.
Same playbook for a dozen middle east countries.
Same playbook for Ukraine.
Russia on the other hand fights wars itself, and when the enemy is at its strongest (proxy war with the US, EU... even China, Pakistan, etc).
No doubt US fights "smarter" but it might just because their military capability is declining and can't fight their own wars.

>>63882183Honestly, it might be Vietnam, and that didn't turn out well.
>>63882183it was a US-led coalition
the US was not the only actor, so in a literal sense the statement is false, but they were, by far, the largest and most important contributor to the operation
>>63881390 (OP)On the one hand, I never bought into the astroturfed 2010s hype built around Russia and their magical cyberwarfare that would just turn every AMERIKKKAN system off at the push of a button or their S-400 / T-14 / Su-57 / Sarmat / Terminator wunderwaffen, or their gachimuchi tier VDV promos.
Had many a heated argument on this very board with slavaboos on these topics, because I kept insisting Russia is a local power that tries to keep up the appearances of a superpower.
On the other hand, I very much expected them to be able to steamroll Ukraine in the event of an invasion, and didn't expect the hot phase of the war to last more than a couple of weeks.
NOTHING could have prepared me for how much of a wet fart Russia turned out to be. Forget local power, at this rate they aren't even a credible threat to fucking Poland.
>>63883067In Vietnam there were a number of non-American armies fighting alongside the American troops. Even if we limit it to countries whose forces took casualties you'd still have to count
>South Korea>Australia.>Thailand>New Zealand>Taiwan>Philippines.>CambodiaI think that the last war America fought by itself was the American Civil War, although there were a number of European officers acting as 'observers and advisors' with the senior Federal/Confederate generals.
>>63881495The myth never existed outside countries far removed from russia. Everybody whom ever had to interact with russians or knows their history knows that the only way they wage war is by throwing bodies at the issue and terrorizing civilians. That's literally been the playbook from like 1800s or even earlier.
That is a strength in a modern world, all things considered, since a modern country wouldn't be able to ignore losses or prolonged fighting in the same way as those mongoloids can. Hence why you shouldn't dismiss the danger those zubhumans pose. If tomorrow they try to overrun the Baltics and US cucks outs with support it will be a big issue.
>>63883795Maybe even so, yes. I'm not sure how things were done back when muscovy captured Kazan, if all the normies were killed or not, I do know that a significant push was on killing the elites (in the broad sense), as to make the normies not able to resist without having elites to guide them. But during the wars for the Caucasus region? It was a multi-year genocide-tier bloodbath.
>>63883804Human waves, slaughtering large chunks of the conquered population (especially the elites), and 'Russification', have all been central to the Russian way of war since before there was a Russia.
>>63881390 (OP)For RTS games they should be replaced by China or some generic blobbed up gommie faction
>>63881390 (OP)I would take them seriously as you would a rabid animal, by putting them down.

What did he mean by this?
I take russia more seriously than anyone who has ever posted on /k/.
>>63888182I am suspicious of the stranger alleging he supports the other side but cannot put forth an argument why they should be allowed to live
>>63888121>For RTS games they should be replaced by China or some generic blobbed up gommie factionC&C: Generals really did a great job of having the GLA, US, and China since those three will be relevant for decades IRL!
I mean, more than I would take Somalia, or Honduras, or Bhutan, or Monaco, or Zimbabwe, or Costa Rica, or Estonia, or Papua New Guinea, or Eswatini, or Tuvalu.
But as a USA peer, threat to NATO? Lol, lmao even, rofl if you will.
Their only threat is being aggressive retards with nooks, thatโs the only reason they still exist.
In a conventional war? Brazil could beat them, or turkey, or Australia, or Egypt, or Mexico, or South Korea, or Argentina, or Poland.
>>63888662Zero Hour had an unused EU and Russia faction which gave way to mods; also an unused US armor/specops general, Chinese ECM/hacking/airforce general with Super MiGs, GLA scrap/junk general and not!Gaddafi
I have never taken that shithole seriously. Fuck Russia and fuck Russians, world would be a better place without them and their slavshit weaponry.
