I didn't fuck up this time
>>63881408Congratulations, you've spent your final bake
>>63881408/hg/ is on life support, not enough new blood to fight the cancer
>>63881394 (OP)I have that keyboard. It's SHIT.
>>63881456the cancer caused by lead poisoning sir
waltherbros... hwansik kim's apparently switched to glock...
>>63881573Is this supposed to be a PSA as to why you should never get your guns refinished?
>>63881573ben stoeger said these pistols were outdated, please stop posting them for the sake of the board's health. thank you senpai
>>63881617boo boo nickel plating
>>63881689Should have went Jarvis Nickel Chromium PVD
>>63881394 (OP)Vintage Glock thread? I'm still looking around for those old surefires and other things that would mount to the trigger guard...
>>63881703>Vintage GlockDoes a 26-year-old model of Glock count?
>polymer
into the trash
>striker
into the trash compactor
This is the Truth.
I got a Px4 in 40 and i really like it
>>63881722I used to be like that, but you got to respect how old that Glock is and how impossible itโs to get vintage laser devices
>>63881722It's the most efficient way to carry 18 rounds of 9x19
>>63881735For manlets, maybe.
>>63881604The pitting will make sense when you see the grips on the completed handgun.
>>63881606>ben stoegerHe can absolutely shoot better than both of us. I've never seen one of his videos.
>>63881617I bought a $160 West German marked P220 slide and decided I want a conversion piece amongst my other P220s.
>>63881617This is the original. I told the plating service to cost as is.
>>63881754You have klinefelter syndrome.
>>63881751lol let's rundown the 17+ alternatives
>92FSIntegral front sight, no MRDS options either
>P320Uncommanded discharge straight to your femur bone
>SP01Worst SA trigger ever devised
>USPRetarded paddle
>M9A3fuck you lol
>P226 with Mec Gar 18-roundersI kneel
>>63881797>92FSlmao he doesn't get the 92X lulz just get that one retard poor buying decision
>P320 Striker fired, into the trash compactor
>SP01Trigger irrelevant, replace it with what you like like a normal person who actually shoots
>USPPolymer, into the trash
>M9A3See above
>P226Polymer, into the trash
Not helping your case.
>>63881797I liked the paddle release
>>63881821>P226>Polymer, into the trashare you tarded?
>>63881834>>63881841So you're saying that a steel framed, hammer fired pistol is...the only good option?
>>63881853I'm not saying anything like that, I own and love my USP and 92fs, I'm just asking if you're a bit tarded
>>63881853You're still a dumbass anon, go home or kill yourself
>>63881965RMR gives you way more options, Aimpoint just made a new optic that DOESN'T use the ACRO cut so I would be hesitant for getting a direct milled ACRO cut due to how as soon as you do it Aimpoint is going to make an ACRO P-3 that fixes everything but uses a new cut.
>>63881965Rmr is better and more durable than the pile of waste that is the acro.
>>63881981>>63881985Thank you anons. I do want the mailbox on top to match the esthetic but Iโm leaning more towards RMR.
>>63881979Itโd be so much better with a dot.
are there any books/manuals/authors that's any anons have found helpful?
>>63881965Acro ultimately has a rail
RMR just has screws
file
md5: e9718e4f5bdbb321bf29069effe526e2
๐
>>63882007the mailbox is cool looking but honestly is not the best optic, the main issue with the ACKro is that they're hand assembled which people have gotten optics with debris inside, the sealant fails and fogs, it's happened before where the front lens shatters
LTT's cut is a plate system and it's decently low for a plate system, they sell plates that allow you ACRO/RMR but in the past LTT has been slow at making new plates. Only issue with them is that they use small screws and the loctite from their shop is applied too lightly, I always have to redo it
>>63882010the only thing you should be adding to mk23 is a lam and suppressor, preferably from KA. don't ruin the asthetics
>>63882023Have you shot it yet? I donโt have a 45 and kind of want to do a reverse two tone build with one.
Took this $230 purchase out today and shot a bunch of 124gr HSTs, 124gr American Eagle, and S&B 115gr through it. No problems at all, but I only put a little over 400 rounds through it as I wanted to blast my Dan Wesson Model 14 as well. Trigger feels a little better than a Glock, ergos are fucking way better.
>>63882078that's good to hear, I was afraid it was going to immediately fail like that other anon's did
>>63882078I found these to be cheap feeling and never got one even though I was interested. I can just never get away from Glocks
>>63882086My only complaint is the mag release is recessed to the point that it's a bit hard to push. I was waiting on going to shoot it before committing to a new extended one and a few more mags.
>>63882090I have a G19 and a G48. I really don't know why I still have them. Probably because I wouldn't get shit for them, they're a dime a dozen.
>>63881965dont put a red dot
just add a light and a suppressor
>>63882050Iโd be fine with this if they were a limited run but itโs a pretty common handgun all things considered. Mineโs from 2023. If I want an all stock one Iโll just buy a second in the future.
>>63882031How about the RCR?
>>63882119Iโm doing all 3
>>63882031The problem with the acro is it's just an awful pistol optic. Either put it on a compact smg/pdw or piggyback on top of an lpvo
>>63882152it appears to be competently manufactured but everything about it I hate, it's fuck huge, top bezel is thick since it's a top mounted battery which puts extra bezel in perhaps the most important part, the optic's deck height despite having a top mounted battery it taller than the bottom mounted RMR - backup irons from the RMR are too short to work on the RCR for most people's optic systems I some how lucked out with the Wilson Combat using super tall irons.
If your cut does not use 6-32 screws or the one alternative, then you cannot mount the RCR.
The attachment method is fucking aids, bending a allenkey is how you confirm torque.
But if the optic is going to be directly mounted onto the slide, the RCR isn't a bad choice for a enclosed emitter on a direct mount RMR. It does not use a mounting plate so there is no extra plate and screws to worry about loosening or shifting.
The Primary Arms HTX-1 is very promising, American made, low deckheight, comes with 2 different RMR to HTX mounting plates in the box. I would have one if they weren't out of stock.
>>63882164On either of those guns you can use a real optic instead of an ACRO.
>>63882198Oh absolutely but it's still not a pistol optic
12 shots with my mom's G43 at 7 yards. One flyer, that's just me.
>>63882248You practiced on the scoring guideโฆ
>>63881825>paddle releaseThat will get you KITS
>>63881853Neither of those anons is me, but as I clearly stated in my initial reply: I kneel before P226 chads and also P35 / BHP kings
>>63881797I thought you said youโd leave these threads after Burt withheld his attention and laserbeam showed you what an actual group looks like
>>63882405I very clearly stipulated a 'break'
>>63858888 not a rage quit
>laserbeamlol this is the
>>63858652 guy called laserbeam? I was being written off as a dollar store version of him or something to that effect
>>63882401Mom was shooting the actual target and I didn't want to mess up her group.
>>63882451Don't mind that chronic baiter, he's just jealous of shooters who are precise enough to hit the tinniest silhouettes ever
>>63882461Take your meds retard

Thinking a new pistol, I kind of want a glock, kind of want the M&P9 M2.
i have a 1911 full size, a 1911 subcompact in 9mm, a glock 44, quite a handful of revolvers.
Thinking between a G19 and an M&P9 M2 and maybe a P320?
Any thoughts? My dad has the M18 version I like it, so perhaps a P320c and a g17?
>>63882514I would avoid the p320. All the negative publicity aside, it's discontinued.
Proof

๐
>>63882524Mate, you just replied to a bait post. Look at his image and filename
>>63882524>>63882524Won't lie, I haven't been tracking SIG in a minute. Is it replaced by the P365?
I'm looking for potentially 2 pistols, I suppose I'd like a compact first to fillout... perhaps a G19 instead?
>>63882527Not bait. Just not posting my own pics unless i need to. Thanks, though.
>>63882527Kill yourself retard, everyone hates you and you pretty much have no knowledge to contribute to hg
>>63882532>Won't lie, I haven't been tracking SIG in a minute. This feels like bait. You baitin'?
>>63882532There have been some concerns regarding the safety of carrying the P320. The 365XL is safe and is a solid option. G19 is also solid. Hit a range and try a few different guns out of you can.
>>63882562>>63882562No. Just been generally happy with my current revolvers.
I lack any sort of potential carry-gun that isnt a revolver, and picked up a ton of 9mm recently.
>>63882578>>63882578Thats the plan, was going to check out a local range and rent. I have a wide budget, so I'm not limited - love the idea of a USP, but don't really *need* to spend a grand.
looking for some vectoring and thoughts from here.
>>63882542Aight, the Gen5 G19 is compact enough for practical IWB while having the best trigger and ergonomics Glocks have to offer along with an unrivaled aftermarket
>>63882551>>63882552I see now why Weedgineer believed you all to be Beretta posters given the identical insults you keep using over and over
>>63882593>>63882593Thats kind of why I thought of a g19.5 first... then the M&P M2 caught my eye.
What kind of holsters do you guys use?
>>63882614Go to a range where you can rent them. Both the M&P 2.0 and the Gen 5 Glocks are very good, so youโll have to discover in person which you prefer
>>63882532P320 has an issue with uncommanded discharge, the exact reason is unknown but it has been replicated, many agencies, the DOD across all 5 branches have had uncommanded discharges. Current theory and it's provable is that if you use a .45/10mm takedown on the lever in addition to some other bad tolerance stacking you can get it so the striker falls from any impact.
Sig quietly updated the manual to recommend against carrying in the chamber, many gunmakers do this but to do it while you are under scrutiny is almost admission of fault.
>>63882619I have those exact placemats, lel
>>63882619I tried using that setup with 2 holster clips and it's more secure but shittier to put on and take off. I'm not sure the extra security is enough to matter.
>>63882619Airsoft holster unironically
>>63882614If the M&P grip and holster feels better then by all means. I have no idea what your MRDS options are with the M2 "footprint" however
>>63882655you clearly don't carry your gun often or train from the holster regularly if you're using a fucking airsoft holster you fucking faggot. you come here and insult better shooters than you and this is what you use? haha look at me at how primitive my set up is
>>63882667Don't be buttmad because you got dabbed on by some dweeb with a cheapo holster
I, a certified Chad, use cheapo Amazon kydex
>>63882619Odin Holsters Valknut
>>63882619Vedder single clip holster with a wing. Shit fuckin kicks my ass. Comfy, simple, easy to throw on, and completely invisible on me.
>>63882667I carry every day, just not all day. Though it's incredibly suspect I'm amongst the few anons with any photographic proof of EDC
>train from the holster regularlyIn reality, a .75s difference in your draw time is unlikely to matter in a defense situation
>>63882706Based
>>63882706kydex is different since kydex holsters are materially all the same shit just molded differently, it's less than 5 dollars of material for the body, the clip hardware is more expensive.
it's just that this faggot has been ruining the general for months now and all he has is a shitty holster but gives advice carrying.
>>63882717your airshit holster will fail, and it will be hilarious.
>>63882706dude like weed lmao
>>63882722>>63882724Using his airshit holster is not any different than buying those cheap ass nylon uncle mikes holsters the LGS Jew sells. Does it somewhat contain the gun and block the trigger? Yes? Good, mission accomplished
>>63882738>he thinks only the trigger guard coverage mattersretard
>>63882722>gives advice carryingBecause I have actual proof of me doing it whereas all the photographless shit you spew sounds like it was parroted from the past
>>63882724You eagerly anticipate my being assaulted? Wow, you're an asshole
>>63882738Seconded
>>63882717>nylon holsterquit acting like you know anything retard
>>63882750Ask all those cops that shot themselves in the leg.
>>63882738The difference between an airshit, an uncle mikes, and Bianchi M12 is huge. Any sort of real use will easily differentiate shit and trustworthy.
>>63882752>open carry>nylon holsterI hope a statistic walks behind you and takes your gun and shoots you dead with it.
Then you won't be able to spout useless advice to anyone else.
>>63882755>only concerned about the trigger guard and not the integrity holsterYou're a fucking retard, you know that?
>>63882738The difference between an airshit, an uncle mikes, and Bianchi M12 is huge. Any sort of real use will easily differentiate shit and trustworthy.
Y'all are fucking annoying
>>63882755>only concerned about the trigger guard and not the about integrity of the holsterYou're a fucking retard, you know that?
>>63882768Stop being an arrogant idiot. Simple as.
>>63882768Carrying owb in a nylon airshit holster is absolutely retarded and the fact we even have to bring this up is ridiculous.
>>63882753Quit acting like you carry anything other than a vape and SYBAU
>>63882758>openly incites my murderYou're a sick individual, anon
>>63882755That's a shit example because the trigger guard isn't even fully contained
>>63882766Those uncle mikes holsters are the same shit as his airshit just click off the clip at the top and pull the gun, either way at worst it's the addition of a second to deploy his gun
>>63882779>That's a shit example because the trigger guard isn't even fully containedIt's a perfect example for that exact reason.
>>63882785no, it isn't. First, the holster is kydex. Second, the gun has a light on it, the holster has to be wide like that. Third, you're a trolling faggot.
>>63882785His airshit looks like it completely covers the trigger guard
Hey airshit holster anon post a good pic of that holster in use pls
>>63882777Im nta but you should buy a real holster.

>>63882779No, mysterymeat manufacturer meant for children and toys =/= namebrand nylon.
A airshit holster maker does not have to deal with the liability of a gun going off or being dropped by their build quality.
>>63882785it's a clamshell held together by stictching here. It will fray, tear, and then compromise retention.
>>63882801>it's a clamshell held together by stictching here. It will fray, tear, and then compromise retention.Holy motherfucking shit, that's my fucking point. Fuck.

>>63882801also forgot the stitching holding on the clip from the weight of the gun fails too
>>63882809may have replied to the wrong post but I don't really care other than pointing out that cheap nylon holsters are shit.
>>63882812Literally any faux leather belt from walmart
>>63882814I'm not sure who is who at this point, but God bless you. It's painfully obvious that it will fail, it's chinese horseshit meant to carry plastic.
>>63882820I think you seriously overestimate how much endurance the cheap air shit holster needs, the gun doesn't weigh 20lbs nigga
>>63881965RMR cut. Way better options, the primary arms htx-1 is looking good. Even aim point did a better acro with the COA.
>>63882825Fully loaded, it will absolutely put undue stress on it. Not to mention moving around and contributing more stress. It will fail, its not worth it. Are you seriously this stupid?

>>63882799>actually carriesAight, what holster do you rec for OWB at the 2:00-3:00 position
>>63882801>>63882814>>63882834Replacements are inexpensive
>>638825149mm 2.0 compact is peak m&p
>>63882843>Replacements are inexpensive>cope argument that doesn't address how retarded it is to carry it in the first placek
>>63882825It'll work for a while if all you do is just put a gun in it and then pretend to be a sheepdog waiting to kill.
If you actually do holster drills, reholstering will wear it out
It's actaully really funny thinking about it now, the guy constantly posting police footage of cops shooting people never practices from the holster. He probably thinks watching footage of cops murder people is enough practice. Big ego from thinking he's the best at a public range. He has the gall to say that all holes touching at 15 yards offhand is unimpressive
>>63882843I usually carry my vp9sk in the 2-3 o clock, I got a we the people holster (yes, somewhat overpriced) but it accommodates the light I threw on it. Otherwise get some cheap shit Amazon kydex, it's pretty much all the same shit and Amazon is easy to refund if you don't dig it
>>63882842>yeunger, S&B, PDPgood taste king
Wow the glocktroon is literally a troon faggot that collects animu dolls and listens to kpop
>>63882198The htx has me excited. I like my SRO, but it is tall and somewhat fragile. Something a bit lower and with better durability sounds promising. I would prefer to stick with trijicon because they look cool and have Bible verses on them but I from what I've read and seen on video, primary arms has done a good job with the htx. The chassis system they are using is a novel idea and looks like it will cowitness with regular sights.
>>63882812seconding
>>63882818 Kore. I have 2, nylon and leather. Love the adjustibility and it holds up, sold them all the time when i worked at a gat store
>>63882865uhh actually he porchpirated the anime figure
>>63882872nta, but I love the ratcheting system as well
rarely post my gats anymore, but postan my twenny eleben C2

>>63882843Odin Valknut
Milt Sparks summer special
>>63882889Are your irons usable? not really that it matters though.
Dawson makes a taller front sight and a different plate for the RCR only where I think it's 1/4 or 1/3 with the RCR's window
>>63882894Fullsize
Springfield TRP AOS
Kimber just made a new generation of 1911 which come optic cut stock, they have fullsizes only right now.
Personally carrying a fullsize appendix isn't that hard other than when sitting down sometimes at the right angle the gun/holster crushes your balls or pinches them.
>>63882895Pretty sure that's Warhammer III.
>>63882857>Amazon kydex>easy to refundBased, thanks for the recce anon
>>63882848You wish death upon me anyway
>>63882865Those were the contents of abandoned amazon packages that I kept as a joke after learning they were worthless. I openly disrespect weeb culture
>>63882895Attila, probably what I've played the most now with Napoleon
>>63882893:(
>>63882901If I really have to they JUST stick up over the bottom of the RCR. Like technically usable but not as much as taller sights.
>>63882843>owb Leo trade in safariland
ha, you guys might enjoy this. classic pic from the gun store i used to work at.
>>63882898>Odin ValknutDon't those have a lead time of eight weeks?
>>63882931wtf lmfao. What's the plan? Drilling out the rounds?
>>63882931What do you even do about this? I've never seen squibs hammered out backwards but I guess there isn't much choice with a revolver.
>>63882941Excuse me how many fucking rounds are stacked into that barrel
>>63882943Random anon here, I'd call it a loss if I couldn't hammer them out with a cleaning rod.
>>63882921Damn, I got excited before realizing this was for Tasers. My search continues!
>>63882940>>63882943So we tried that, didn't end up doing anything lol. Also ended up noticing a crack in the frame, it's a miracle it didn't explode. Older dude had just had it transferred in, first time with it on the range he fired 2 rounds, squibbed and didn't notice, followed by the last 3. I think he tried calling the manufacturer but they said "gg no re" and offered him a discount if he bought another.
>>63882961What brand is that revolver? Just curious.
>>63882961>squibbed and didn't notice, followed by the last 3I too, would like to know who made this revolver
>>63882973I think it's a Weihrauch Windicator, cheap German revolver imported by EAA
>>63882984lol
Would you know if he was shooting Ammo Inc .357? Or what ammo was he using. Ammo inc .357 was like 36 cents a round a few days ago from SGammo liquidating it
>>63882935Just checked emails to confirm. Mine shipped in two weeks. The website says the lead time is less than that now.
>>63882989Can't remember the brand of ammo he was using, but this one was a .38 model. Interesting you mention that though, we did occasionally have issues with the Ammo Inc 357 we had on the range counter. I think we had a squib in the range Chiappa Rhino and maybe the Python too? No probs with the 9 personally though.
>>63882961Any idea what ammo?
I've only ever seen 2 range incidents where shit got fucked up. One was my own gun, had a 340PD shooting 357 magnum that started spitting spal and debris out the side of the cylinder. Scored the cylinder and ruined the cylinder gap. I sent it back to S&W and they sent me a completely new gun.
Second incident was a guy next to me shooting a 9mm Glock and had a squib. Was knowledgeable enough to check the barrel before blowing his gun up.
Both of these incidents involved freedom munitions. Fuck freedom munitions.
>>63883013Nvm
>>63883007Still fuck freedom munitions

>>63883004>lead time is lessGood shit, anon. There's lots of interesting options out there for holsters, gonna have to do some soul searching tonight!
>>63883022Itโs the best kydex holster that Iโve owned. I carry 3:00 so people who carry appendix may have different opinions. Iโve had a C&G IWB holster and a PHLster floodlight gen 2 and I really didnโt like either. I had a TXC that I really liked but I sold it and the pistol I had for it. I was looking at JM Custom around the time I ordered the Odin and went with the Odin because I liked the clip placement better. Let me know if you have any questions about it.

>>63882060I still need a few pins and springs.
>>63882405Look,we all have anons we'd prefer to leave. I wish the Beretta enthusiasts made their own gen already, and left us normal posters alone, for instance. I wish Twink posted less often too, mostly for his own sake. I wish Burt didn't post Arby's. And I wish faggots didn't report spam 2A discussions, but here we are.
>>63883425shutup weed engineer
>>63882931>>63882940>>63882943>>63883224I don't know if this is good or bad, because i don't know if it was caused by the gun or ammo. On one hand, Weihrauch is German so I'd expect world class manufacturing quality. On the other hand, those guys make literal BB guns, so I'm not sure if I can take them seriously. I do know for sure that a GP100 would survive that easy.
>>63883431I'll shut up if you take your meds, so basically I'm not gonna shut up

Assuming everyone else does the same thing of course. Which is usually the main issue.
>>63883474>and they will disappearFalse promises from a false premise, the premise of the idea that it's right for posts and anons you dislike not to exist. I accept the idea that I'll never get rid of the troons here, for example. I know that no matter what I do, they'll dominate this shithole more and more.
>>63883481>issueYeah, the issue is it doesn't work. It's only possible to begin with, when the community is already shadowmodded (ruined) to the point where it's nothing but the same 5-10 faggots posting the same pieces of trash, and they report whatever they can't silence by ignoring. Only in that scenario can your "ignore cannon" be effective, because otherwise it won't work in an organic scenario where the conversation isn't the same 10 fucking retards. So, in order for the ignore cannon to hit, the thread already has to be dead beyond saving. The irony. It all comes down to control. Are there any handguns that are actually ambidextrous? I.e. able to be used just as easily with either hand, without having to take the thing apart?
>>63885008Define "actually ambidextrous". To me I consider even the simple glock fully ambidextrous. It's just as easy to press the mag release with the left index finger as it is to do so with the right thumb.

Do I really just have to bite the bullet and look dumb if I want to improve past baby yard distance? I feel terrible putting the target out shooting slow and bringing it back to see I either missed or winged the target. How long should it take to feel/see improvement vs clearly wasting time money and ammo?
>>63886125Don't do it, anons here aren't well in the head. I promise you'll gain absolutely nothing useful from doing what you're thinking about.
t. seen where the road leads
>>63886125Whatโs baby yard distance, you should be shooting at 7 yards since tight groups at 7 is difficult. When I say tight I mean all holes touching, itโs possible with irons.
Another thing that makes past 7 yards difficult is your sights versus the target. Some combinations make getting consistent sight/target alignment difficult. Big bullseyes make this consistent since bisecting a circle consistently is much easier than bisecting a Bravo Mike silhouette (black male silhouette)
>>63886125like a range trip or two? you wont be great or anything but you should see improvements. how much dry fire are you doing? start doing 10 minutes of that a day if you aren't. What sort of distances are we talking about?
>>63886158Yeah I did mean 7 yards. I got razzed by a friend for shooting at that distance.
>holes touchingOk that's a feasible goal. I'd like to one day get a ccw (CA) and I figure practicing beforehand saves a lot of hassle.
>>638862587 yards is fine, I shoot a lot at 20 feet when I go to an indoor range and its a perfect distance for either practicing magdumps or groups. If you can shoot a quarter sized group at 20 feet you're roughly capable of fist sized groups at 80 feet which is about the maximum I'd be comfortable with shooting at without bracing and taking slow aimed shots with my rinky dink carry. Being able to reliably hit the upper chest area within 30 feet already puts you ahead of most, you don't need to be an olympic shooter to acceptably stop an aggressor.

Blog Post Inbound:
Quick review on the flux raider, didn't see a PCC thread up so I thought I'd drop this here since its quasi relevant and some anons might be interested.
>tl;dr: Thoroughly whelming, don't trick yourself into thinking its amazingly superior to a handgun in all categories, but it is better and in some categories it is notably better
Round Count: 200rnds through the raider, 50 through a G19 for comparison
>fit/finish: A
Pretty good, polymer feels very sturdy and high quality, metal mag releases look like they have some machining marks. Nothing is sharp or unfinished feeling though. The brace has some play but it locks in to the body well under pressure, it isn't like one of those cheap retractable stocks that keeps wanting to shift on you if you blink wrong.
>Manual of Arms/Ease of use: C+
This is something that will definitely take getting used to, There's simply a lot of buttons and levers on the thing. The monkey parts of my brain definitely wants to default to using the double mag release, its the biggest and most sensibly located. This results in some fun shenanigans where you drop both mags without really meaning to. This doesn't really matter much in practice though as long as you have a grip on the front mag when doing so. The spring loaded stock works quite well, its definitely the most idiot sensitive part of the gun though. I simply can't see using the thing for on body carry with the stock closed without having a single point sling on the brace QD point for pulling it all the way out if you fail to deploy it properly. I feel like I may be a little too critical here, they tried to accomplish a lot in a small space and did an excellent job of that, but there's still just a lot going on in a small space. Not including a safety delete in the box is an outright mistake given the sheer honking size of the things, however this surprisingly didn't result in any difficulties during use or hotspots.
>>63887175glock 26 is always relevant nigger
>>63887283>Trigger: B-it feels weird having a standard striker fired trigger pull on the gun to some extent given its form factor, I'm not a trigger snob though and it's definitely a lot better than an MP5 trigger. It is adequate for the intended use of the firearm.
> Recoil: BIt recoils more than you might think, but is quite manageable. Overall I'd say the experience is much like firing a larger direct blowback PCC/SMG. That isn't to say it's like shooting a direct blowback PCC of this size though, like a Mac-10 for instance, It's much better than that. Reminded me a lot of shooting a scorpion going off distant memory, but I'd have to shoot side by side to really compare. It definitely does not compare to an MP5 or well tuned DI AR in terms of dot movement, but given its size it really is quite decent.
>reliability: A+Kinda a gimmie, despite their issues the p320s seem to be pretty reliable guns in my experience. The p320 I used was new to me and had about 50rnds through it when I purchased it. The raider did not manage to make an otherwise reliable firearm unreliable, so congratulations on not fucking up I guess.
>>63887289>Accuracy: Rating Withheld(provisional C-)Somewhat surprisingly I was able to outshoot the raider with my G19 Gen 5(RMR, Standard trigger) at distances of 5-7yds when doing slow fire. I wouldn't consider myself a particularly great shot with a handgun either. I don't feel its fair to judge the gun on this point due to issues with the sight used and myself. All I had laying around was an eotech, I literally had to max out the elevation to get the POI to the lower bound of the donut of death. Due to my shooting glasses and how scrunched up on the gun I had to get I was frequently getting a double image of the lower bound of the ring. I still could not honestly say if the thing is zeroed on it, above it, or below it by a little. I'm withholding judgement on this point until I can try a more suitable optic. Reliability of decent accuracy at longer distances(15-25yds) ran absolute circles around the glock though, getting A-zone hits is vastly easier and quicker to do because of the brace. Reliability of decent accuracy at close distances was also improved, mild to moderate fuckups have a MUCH less pronounced effect whether you're just talking presentation or rapid strings of fire.
>Overall Merit: AI'm probably a bit biased on this point. I wouldn't have bought the thing if I didn't think it was both cool and useful. Anybody telling you its just as good as an actual PCC or SMG is smoking crack. It's noticeably worse, albeit mildly so. Anybody saying its more useful than an AR is also fucking stupid(cough cough). That being said its probably the best show in town for this size/use of firearm and that's without even getting in to price. You could set up a raider for less than you'd spend on a stock TP9, and I don't really think the TP9 is a better gun. If I was forced in to a fight and had the choice of the raider or any handgun I would definitely pick the raider.
>>63887296In closing, I think It's a good useful setup. I think it will however need a couple of accessories to really come in to it's own as a significantly superior alternative to a handgun. Namely a gas pedal of some sort and a compensator. I look forward to doing so and seeing what I can squeeze out of the thing. Another accessory that would MASSIVELY increase the overall value of the raider would be a reliable FRT of some sort for it, but I'm not holding my breath on that given the size constraints. Don't be surprised if you shoot a poorly set up one and either dislike it or think its just lackluster though.
>>63887283>>63887289>>63887296>>63887300Interesting. Do you have any other PDW experience? I was looking at the B&T one, but the Glock version of the Raider looks neat, too.
>>63887283I shot less than 20 rounds through one and hated it, I did see that if you put a bit of practice with it and adjusted it could be better than a handgun but I didnโt want it. If it was for a platform that I like Iโll be interested more

>>63887344Just a crappy DMG9 from a ways back, can't speak to the TP9 personally.
>>63887349I could definitely get that, It took a few mags to start to warm up to it and I'd already done some dry practice with the thing. Im a taller dude and even managed to bop my nose a few times under recoil on the back of the eotech, fortunately its only 9mm. I definitely wouldn't consider it a particularly enjoyable gun to shoot
>>63887383Oh, yea and to add on to the "not particularly enjoyable" end of things its a pretty gassy overall experience. Can't imagine how bad it would be suppressed, you'd be taking it straight up the friggin nose.

>>63882889Grips look comfy
>>63887653>that's not how you spell suppressorDifferent uses. Wouldn't be a fan of that without some sort of flowthrough design, the gas would be bad as fuck.
>get an apc9 with a Glock lower that takes ar triggers and put a suppressor on it. this fucking abortion...A full size SMG style PCC? That doesn't do the same thing at all lmao. I've already got guns for that use anyways.
>why gas pedal and compto make it shoot as flat as possible without causing too many other issues. Maybe check your reading comprehension. It isn't a replacement for a PCC, making it bigger defeats the point. If you want a really nice to shoot and quiet gun then get something else. The niche for the thing is as a PDW, as retarded as you may think I am for thinking there's merit to that niche adding shit on to a raider to try to make it a shitty stand in for an actual PCC/SMG is turbo retarded.
