RMR gives you way more options, Aimpoint just made a new optic that DOESN'T use the ACRO cut so I would be hesitant for getting a direct milled ACRO cut due to how as soon as you do it Aimpoint is going to make an ACRO P-3 that fixes everything but uses a new cut.

the mailbox is cool looking but honestly is not the best optic, the main issue with the ACKro is that they're hand assembled which people have gotten optics with debris inside, the sealant fails and fogs, it's happened before where the front lens shatters

LTT's cut is a plate system and it's decently low for a plate system, they sell plates that allow you ACRO/RMR but in the past LTT has been slow at making new plates. Only issue with them is that they use small screws and the loctite from their shop is applied too lightly, I always have to redo it

Anonymous No.63882198 [Report] >>63882235 >>63882870
>>63882152
it appears to be competently manufactured but everything about it I hate, it's fuck huge, top bezel is thick since it's a top mounted battery which puts extra bezel in perhaps the most important part, the optic's deck height despite having a top mounted battery it taller than the bottom mounted RMR - backup irons from the RMR are too short to work on the RCR for most people's optic systems I some how lucked out with the Wilson Combat using super tall irons.

If your cut does not use 6-32 screws or the one alternative, then you cannot mount the RCR.

The attachment method is fucking aids, bending a allenkey is how you confirm torque.

But if the optic is going to be directly mounted onto the slide, the RCR isn't a bad choice for a enclosed emitter on a direct mount RMR. It does not use a mounting plate so there is no extra plate and screws to worry about loosening or shifting.

The Primary Arms HTX-1 is very promising, American made, low deckheight, comes with 2 different RMR to HTX mounting plates in the box. I would have one if they weren't out of stock.

P320 has an issue with uncommanded discharge, the exact reason is unknown but it has been replicated, many agencies, the DOD across all 5 branches have had uncommanded discharges. Current theory and it's provable is that if you use a .45/10mm takedown on the lever in addition to some other bad tolerance stacking you can get it so the striker falls from any impact.

Sig quietly updated the manual to recommend against carrying in the chamber, many gunmakers do this but to do it while you are under scrutiny is almost admission of fault.

If you actually do holster drills, reholstering will wear it out

It's actaully really funny thinking about it now, the guy constantly posting police footage of cops shooting people never practices from the holster. He probably thinks watching footage of cops murder people is enough practice. Big ego from thinking he's the best at a public range. Yeah, the issue is it doesn't work. It's only possible to begin with, when the community is already shadowmodded (ruined) to the point where it's nothing but the same 5-10 faggots posting the same pieces of trash, and they report whatever they can't silence by ignoring. Only in that scenario can your "ignore cannon" be effective, because otherwise it won't work in an organic scenario where the conversation isn't the same 10 fucking retards. So, in order for the ignore cannon to hit, the thread already has to be dead beyond saving. The irony. It all comes down to control. You've got 5 or 10 ogres here who need to steer the conversation, and they think they have more rights than other posters, and they freak out when they lose full control of this shithole.

Mag releases not being ambi aren’t a big deal, ask a lefty how they hit the button, some use their middle finger to hit the button.

What’s baby yard distance, you should be shooting at 7 yards since tight groups at 7 is difficult. When I say tight I mean all holes touching, it’s possible with irons.

Another thing that makes past 7 yards difficult is your sights versus the target. Some combinations make getting consistent sight/target alignment difficult. Big bullseyes make this consistent since bisecting a circle consistently is much easier than bisecting a Bravo Mike silhouette (black male silhouette)

7 yards is fine, I shoot a lot at 20 feet when I go to an indoor range and its a perfect distance for either practicing magdumps or groups. If you can shoot a quarter sized group at 20 feet you're roughly capable of fist sized groups at 80 feet which is about the maximum I'd be comfortable with shooting at without bracing and taking slow aimed shots with my rinky dink carry. Being able to reliably hit the upper chest area within 30 feet already puts you ahead of most, you don't need to be an olympic shooter to acceptably stop an aggressor.

I'm a competitive shooter (NRL) and I shoot with a lot of competitive pistol shooters. I've never heard anybody complain about an M&P, outside of shit 1.0 trigger, which is no longer an issue with the 2.0. General consensus is "just as good as" and worth consideration if you don't like Glocks because of x, y, z (usually grip angle). the M&P .22 (compact), 5.7, and 10mm in particular seem well liked by everybody I shoot with.

Blog Post Inbound:

Quick review on the flux raider, didn't see a PCC thread up so I thought I'd drop this here since its quasi relevant and some anons might be interested.

>tl;dr: Thoroughly whelming, don't trick yourself into thinking its amazingly superior to a handgun in all categories, but it is better and in some categories it is notably better

Round Count: 200rnds through the raider, 50 through a G19 for comparison

>fit/finish: A
Pretty good, polymer feels very sturdy and high quality, metal mag releases look like they have some machining marks. Nothing is sharp or unfinished feeling though. The brace has some play but it locks in to the body well under pressure, it isn't like one of those cheap retractable stocks that keeps wanting to shift on you if you blink wrong.
>Manual of Arms/Ease of use: C+
This is something that will definitely take getting used to, There's simply a lot of buttons and levers on the thing. The monkey parts of my brain definitely wants to default to using the double mag release, its the biggest and most sensibly located. This results in some fun shenanigans where you drop both mags without really meaning to. This doesn't really matter much in practice though as long as you have a grip on the front mag when doing so. The spring loaded stock works quite well, its definitely the most idiot sensitive part of the gun though. I simply can't see using the thing for on body carry with the stock closed without having a single point sling on the brace QD point for pulling it all the way out if you fail to deploy it properly. I feel like I may be a little too critical here, they tried to accomplish a lot in a small space and did an excellent job of that, but there's still just a lot going on in a small space. Not including a safety delete in the box is an outright mistake given the sheer honking size of the things, however this surprisingly didn't result in any difficulties during use or hotspots.

>Trigger: B-
it feels weird having a standard striker fired trigger pull on the gun to some extent given its form factor, I'm not a trigger snob though and it's definitely a lot better than an MP5 trigger. It is adequate for the intended use of the firearm.
> Recoil: B
It recoils more than you might think, but is quite manageable. Overall I'd say the experience is much like firing a larger direct blowback PCC/SMG. That isn't to say it's like shooting a direct blowback PCC of this size though, like a Mac-10 for instance, It's much better than that. Reminded me a lot of shooting a scorpion going off distant memory, but I'd have to shoot side by side to really compare. It definitely does not compare to an MP5 or well tuned DI AR in terms of dot movement, but given its size it really is quite decent.
>reliability: A+
Kinda a gimmie, despite their issues the p320s seem to be pretty reliable guns in my experience. The p320 I used was new to me and had about 50rnds through it when I purchased it. The raider did not manage to make an otherwise reliable firearm unreliable, so congratulations on not fucking up I guess.
Anonymous No.63887296 [Report] >>63887300 >>63887344

>Accuracy: Rating Withheld(provisional C-)
Somewhat surprisingly I was able to outshoot the raider with my G19 Gen 5(RMR, Standard trigger) at distances of 5-7yds when doing slow fire. I wouldn't consider myself a particularly great shot with a handgun either. I don't feel its fair to judge the gun on this point due to issues with the sight used and myself. All I had laying around was an eotech, I literally had to max out the elevation to get the POI to the lower bound of the donut of death. Due to my shooting glasses and how scrunched up on the gun I had to get I was frequently getting a double image of the lower bound of the ring. I still could not honestly say if the thing is zeroed on it, above it, or below it by a little. I'm withholding judgement on this point until I can try a more suitable optic. Reliability of decent accuracy at longer distances(15-25yds) ran absolute circles around the glock though, getting A-zone hits is vastly easier and quicker to do because of the brace. Reliability of decent accuracy at close distances was also improved, mild to moderate fuckups have a MUCH less pronounced effect whether you're just talking presentation or rapid strings of fire.
>Overall Merit: A
I'm probably a bit biased on this point. I wouldn't have bought the thing if I didn't think it was both cool and useful. Anybody telling you its just as good as an actual PCC or SMG is smoking crack. It's noticeably worse, albeit mildly so. Anybody saying its more useful than an AR is also fucking stupid(cough cough). That being said its probably the best show in town for this size/use of firearm and that's without even getting in to price. You could set up a raider for less than you'd spend on a stock TP9, and I don't really think the TP9 is a better gun. If I was forced in to a fight and had the choice of the raider or any handgun I would definitely pick the raider.

In closing, I think It's a good useful setup. I think it will however need a couple of accessories to really come in to it's own as a significantly superior alternative to a handgun. Namely a gas pedal of some sort and a compensator. I look forward to doing so and seeing what I can squeeze out of the thing. Another accessory that would MASSIVELY increase the overall value of the raider would be a reliable FRT of some sort for it, but I'm not holding my breath on that given the size constraints. Don't be surprised if you shoot a poorly set up one and either dislike it or think its just lackluster though.

A full size SMG style PCC? That doesn't do the same thing at all lmao. I've already got guns for that use anyways.
>why gas pedal and comp
to make it shoot as flat as possible without causing too many other issues. Maybe check your reading comprehension. It isn't a replacement for a PCC, making it bigger defeats the point. If you want a really nice to shoot and quiet gun then get something else. The niche for the thing is as a PDW, as retarded as you may think I am for thinking there's merit to that niche adding shit on to a raider to try to make it a shitty stand in for an actual PCC/SMG is turbo retarded.

hmm, I didn't refresh

but I don't care enough, I don't want to be in your /rts/ tier threads as it attracts psychopaths that like to watch people die

I do find it hilarious that the guy who spams murder porn doesn't practices from the holster, said that .75 seconds extra draw time won't matter, carries in shit tier nylon and insults better shooters. A master troll

This condemnation is unfair, because when I accused you speds of being trigger happy killer psychos for acting like you wanna kill someone in self defense, you flipped out for eternity
