Easily the XF-108.

Incredibly ahead of its time in multiple ways. Mach 3 cruise, internal weapons bays, look down shoot down radar, BVR missiles, and still one of the coolest looking concepts ever.

If it had been built people would still be jerking off to its performance today.

In a perfect world the Navy and Air Force's fleets would be swapped, with the F-22, F-15, and F-16 going to the Navy and the F-23, F-17, and ST-21 going to the Air Force.

Good choices, supersonic VTOLs absolutely would have had great utility, especially for smaller navies.

That's an aircraft Lockheed bought the plans for while designing the F.35.
Apparently they didn't like it and made something totally different.
