In this load out, sure. But you can fit a lot more bombs if you have a tanker tagging along. Also, you better not be doing any low-level tactical flying or BVR engagements at those ranges

but they were on a loiterung mission, so you don't maximize loadout but loiterung time.

i think they had different mission types some were ballistic missile hunters that need lots of fuel and refuelling but others that are just bomb-taxis can bomb iran without refueling even some of the remote parts of it

Imagine taking off with an f-15 that has 3 drop tanks and 2 conformal fuel tanks. You could basically go anywhere. The possibilities are limitless.

apache was mostly used for air to air, the autocannon can carry like 1000+ rounds and aim9 missiles.
