Here's your 9mm lever action bro
Taylor's and Co actually has a decent looking 1873 in 9mm but the guns are $2,000 and all sold out
I've never gotten the appeal of a rimless lever action. Like I love my AR9 and I love my 357 marlin but never have I wanted to mix the two together. It's kinda like making a beer specifically marketed to Mormons, it just doesn't make sense

Yeah the box magazine looks ugly and obtrusive for $2000. I’d buy it if it were made by keltec for $400.

This taylor and co gun is in 9mm and has a normal tube mag. I think for a large part of the 20th century the 2nd most popular lever action round was the .35 rem and that's rimless

.35 rem on the left .30-30 on the right. .35 rem is rimless and is used in normal marlin and henry 336 rifles with normal tube mags

People who have a brain parasite that prevents them from purchasing any other magazine that isn't a glock mag. These "people" usually also insist ARs are pointless for civilian use and shotguns are completely obsolete, instead all the money must be spent on carry gun upgrades

Or it could be because glock mags are ubiquitous and everyone and their brother makes a knock off aftermarket version that works down to 5 round capacity. Why would you design something like that and not use the most common, cheapest mag available?

>Or it could be because glock mags are ubiquitous
I'm a noguns eurofag (although hoping to get my rifle licence after university) but I've always taken it as a given that if I'm buying a gun for practical use (i.e. shtf) and not just aesthetics, then I want one that uses an easily found magazine and caliber, so ideally 9mm, 5.56, or 7.62 (and glock mag because that's the police/army issue for 9mm and stanag mags for the 5.56). If you're just purchasing to have an aesthetic looking weapon though then fuck it

sure, but then my options are either
>go without any weapons at all
>go with weapons but in retarded calibers and mags that will disappear once I expend or lose them
>go with weapons that have mags and calibers available in large quantities domestically
so which is it anon?
>inb4 learn to survive without a weapon
yeah that's plan A but I'll take one if I can get one

I'd get it on having mags that are inexpensive, which does lead to you common mags anyway , but buying stuff just because the mags are common so you can steal more in the future is dumb.
Just get a decent stockpile of whatever you need, finding ammo will be the issue. And if you able to scavenge magazines then you'll probably get the guns for them anyway.
In Europe your just as well off focusing on rifles and shotguns that have internal magazines anyway

He's a no guns and never served, there's a good chance they've never even held a real firearm before and doens't understand how to actually use them.
Hell I learned about he practicalities of retaining and reloading mags from airsofting as a teenager.

This thing is pretty fucking stupid.
If I had to choose a lever rifle I'd get the one made by bond arms that takes most AR uppers. Still very much a toy but maybe you can justify it with suppressing it or something. It's also $1500 for the full rifle.

I still think that looks like ass, obviously not as bad as the op one, but yeah at least that one takes AR uppers. I can see a use case if you live in a no semi auto fag place

you guys realise that even if you're actively trying to retain magazines, the chaotic situations you get into (in this hypothetical scenario) mean that you'll end up losing mags every now and then right?

>>63940416
So have spares as part of your collection so you don't need to scavenge any.
Even in Europe where HK and Glock have most of the militray and police contracts sown up there's a huge range of different firearms put therem

>It's also $1500 for the full rifle.

Trapt in Communist America.

Either CMMG BR4 in 5.56x45 for $1750–$1850 USD or a Ruger Mini 14 in 5.56x45/223 REM for $800.

Already snorted fent-laced cocaine and bought a KelTec SU16 (one ugly P.O.S. that feels like a gay-ass Nintendo controller) and some polymer PMAGs that won't fit Rugers because their guns are special (i.e., retarded proprietary mags).

Say fuck it. Bought the Ruger Mini-14 anyways, so the extra $1K will be used for ammo and extra Ruger mags instead.
