Yes? That's literally my hope. Bring back battleships so you can have 18" railguns.

A mix of coilguns with railgun technology could sort out the problem of both, and we have the tech to make coilguns visble atleast.
You can launch a metal rod at mach 10, thays going to pierce trough any missile and has a range of 500kmh, and you could carry 1200 of them if they were as large as the yamato shell, but theyd be smaller because they dont need propelantso you can carry more and you could maoe one that has a scramjet and can manuever midflight to reach even longer ranges making it viable against fighter jets.
And you can have giant IR dome that detect planes heat signature from hundreed of kilometer away without the need for radar.
