LTV. Light infantry is severely weakened by lacking a base of fire, so it makes sense to pool your bicycle infantry into a single vehicle that mounts an M2 or some other force multiplier.

I can't think of many tactics that would take advantage of the superior infrastructure of enemy territory.

Maybe a bit of cycling would be a good idea for some of HATOs warriors in the east

Russians got buttfucked during their initial invasion because there were a bunch of SF-types driving these kind of bikes around launching Javelins and other missiles at their tanks. Extremely useful if there is a fluid front line because of how much it augments your mobility.

>Light infantry is severely weakened by lacking a base of fire
light infantry always have a base of fire, it just comes from their platoon level GPMGs and squad-level LMGs

>>63951047 (OP)
bicycles were issued to give infantry a bit more mobility in light of a shortage of motor vehicles
most modern armies have achieved 100% motorization, or at least motorization in units expected to see heavy combat
so the modern equivalent is literally any infantry unit that is not airborne, jungle, or mountain

>bicycles were issued to give infantry a bit more mobility
Bicycles will only make them move at three times the speed while also increasing their carrying capacity, yes.
