Realist geopolitics analysts with their "rational logic" cry out: Ukraine must submit to the cold-hearted dictator in Russia! That will make the aggression stop! But all those guys with Thor's hammer tattoos who live over there in Ukraine have honor which demanded otherwise. It's not like "international law" was coming to the rescue. The kindergarten teacher cannot protect us forever from the bullies and other rowdy kids who make the other kids scared.

When black youth see white youth approaching from the opposite direction, it's essential that they consider crossing the street no less (if not more) than vice versa. And when *that* happens, that creates a situation in which *neither* group feels the need to cross the street, because they respect each other.
