I wonder if you could bed some guide rods into a polymer frame like a Glock and drop what amounts to a simplified Luger action into the top. Give it a modern grip angle and have it take Glawk mags and I think it would be cool. Theoretically it would be much cheaper to produce with a polymer frame as that cuts out alot of the theoretical machine work and expensive forgings you may need. Using as much stamped sheet metal as possible should also keep it cheaper. Idk I'm just spitballing, I'm sure some engineering faggot will come along and ERM AHKTUALLY me about it would still cost 6 gortillion dollars
