>>63965145 (OP)Warfare probably won't even be a lethal thing in the future. Just use ai with a series of botnets to erode the culture and society of the country you don't like. Cause isolation, extremism, mental disorders, depression, etc. on a societal level while using a flood of ai to make socializing impossible for people, especially old people (the voter/money base) and young people (the military age people/future of the nation). Make the political system worthless and evil in the eyes of the average citizen. You don't even need to care about who's in charge, as long as you can consistently convince the populace that the wrong guy got the job, whether because he's weak, malevolent, or a puppet of some other country. Maybe yours.
Hell, a clear narrative isn't even necessary to cause issues. Just drowning out all human conversation with ai-generated slop should be enough not just to stifle a people's resolve, but also make the act of communicating less interesting or viable. And don't forget the constant ai-assisted forgery of collusion; if you can convince an enemy nation that someone on their side is totally a spy or saboteur for yours, that nation will happily get rid of the person for you.
I imagine warfare in the future being just a giant psyop over who can cause the most teen suicides, mass shootings, elderly scam calls, and overall feelings of impotent fatigue from halfway across the world. Fighting with weapons is becoming obsolete when words can tear a people apart.
