Malaysia tested Boran howitzer to complement its LG1 and supplement (and eventually replace) the oto melara and the army decided that they'd rather have more LG1 kek

Who knows the role would be reversed im the future; LG1 is the standard field 105mm howitzer for the army whilst Boran is acquired in small numbers for Para/naval infantry units

It looks shitty in a good way, like the MTLB. How is the range compared to other, 'normal' howitzers, such as the M119 (it says it has a shorter range than the para-howitzer, 19km with RAP rounds.)

Hopefully turkey (or fuck, even India, kek) keeps producing specialty equiptment for mountain operations.
