I dont know why you think this is something unique to the GWOT, the US has a long history of applying retarded levels of force since pretty much forever.
When I was stationed in Germany I did some exploring and found a little town out in the middle of nowhere with the ruins of a little stone church built by Charlegmane in the 900s. It had survived all that time until the end of WW2 when a forward recon patrol from the US Army arrived and a kid from the Hitler Youth decided to climb into the bell tower and take shots at them, so the scouts fell back, called in a platoon of Shermans, and had them blow up the whole church for the lols.
Even back during the Indian Wars there are tons of accounts of the military rolling through and burning down whole ass tribes just because some pioneer's cow got killed.

Sure its a movie, and does portray how sudden, violent, loud and confusing combat is.
but some stuff does raise a few eyebrows.
>going all stealthy n shiet just to start hammering a wall in the middle of the night
>some dude looking out of an open window right on its edge
>claymores right on top of the wall
>dont do shit when its clear they were spotted and an attack was imminent
Might as well just put a huge McDonalds sign on the compound at that point. but then again, its navy seals so...it is what it is.

No? They called air strikes because the enemy was too far away for small arms, the enemy was in armor vehicles, in a building, fortified position, etc.

Filming in the US is markedly more expensive. You'd need the approval of the DoD to use its assets in a movie and on top of that adding further cost you're probably going to have your script worked over to meet their approval ala Black Hawk Down. For a director on a limited budget with a less-than-glamorous depiction of a recent US conflict, getting real Bradleys is asking for a lot.

>r u trollan and retarded or just retarded?
I think anon can't understand you talking about a third party without that party's words being your opinion.
It's sort of like:
>How would that guy over there feel if he hadn't had breakfast?
>But you did have breakfast, I saw you!

It's a whole extra level of abstraction and social intelligence over the base hypothetical. It takes an actual cerebral function to envisage that someone is talking about what someone else is saying or doing, we evolved it for tribal cohesion (probably) because it's great to coordinate a hunting party or avoid conflicts if you can understand what someone else is doing but it's actually a quite complex behaviour for an animal to do and mostly only primates and canines/lupines can do it. Elephants too probably.

>getting real Bradleys is asking for a lot
It just occurred to me that the next Wolf Warrior sequel that China makes might well have real Bradleys in it.
It would be piss easy for them to ask Russia to send over the captured one or two they have and fix them up for their movie industry.

China often uses foreign students and English teachers in movies, so there could actually be American (usually Russian/Germans) playing US soldiers in a Bradley for a movie.

Well they actually did that (because they were retards) but it took like an hour in reality. They were hammering away at it for a long time while the movie makes it seem like it took a few minutes.
