Covered trenches and fighting positions are must in the drone area. But they are very labor and material intensive. Prefabricated kits are essential to construction of such fortifications under pressure.

These are actually really cool. Non flammable, grating on the floor, different modules for minecraft tier plug and play trenches including firing positions, covered trenches. Easy to transport and cheap. The german BW channel has a video showing how it is set up.

I feel like people are intentionally misunderstanding the point of these German plastic trenches and shit like the 3d printed structures that the French are currently experimenting with. The whole point is that if you move to an area you can fortify it significantly faster than getting a whole bunch of dudes with shovels. If you have a whole bunch of time and equipment and money we can make the most elaborate fortifications imaginable but that's not the idea behind these shenanigans.
