Cope cages are slat armor designed to protect from AT fired at the top of the tank. Would probably have worked pretty well for RPGs from tall buildings had they ever actually made it into a city. Slat armor literally works by deforming the skin of the warhead. It works only on RPG-7 warheads which use the skin to transmit the signal from the piezo fuze to the igniter. If it gets shortcircuited, it can't detonate. It doesn't do shit against AT4s, RPG-22s or Javelins other than increasing the standoff distance which will make the shaped warhead even more effective.

You can keep coping that it's actually to protect in urban environments, but you're still retarded.
