Are we ever gonna see an army implement an anti suicide guard again, like the turks did? Now that so many armies are at war, and i just read about increased suicide rate in IDF. Could we see Isreal or Ukraine do it?

The image and topic are over 15 years old. suicide in army was a huge topic between 2000-2010. Turkish army is no more a conscript force. 75% of personnel now serve as professional contract soldiers. And soldiers no more do manual guard duty like they used to do. They have CCTV and remote weapon stations installed in most facitilies and garrisons. Back then, many of the reported suicides occurred when soldiers were assigned to isolated guard posts for long hours, often completely alone.
