I wish I liked revolvers OP. They seem neat but I'm a slut for hammer-fired DA/SA semiautos

I own one. Classic was over evaluating the condition of a lot of them. I've seen photos of some of them rusted to shit. Mine had a broken grip panel and some minor rust. Rust was 5 mins of clean up but getting new grips took a few months until someone started making g10 grips again.
Install was a pain, and involved a hammer.
Mechanically the gun is fine. I've put about 250 rounds of assorted bullshit of 38 and 357 through it but nothing too spicy.

It is so stupidly overbuilt for a rimfire revolver. There is zero movement when it's locked, it's one of the most solid revolvers I've ever handled. It's also dumb heavy with a bull barrel and non-fluted 6 shot cylinder. I can't wait to shoot it, I'm sure it doesn't move at all. I got a decent deal on it used, but I can see why people pay so much for them new.

Opinions on putting red dots on snubbies or medium sized carry revolvers?

Some random cheapo gun I spotted on Gunbroker. It's strange because it has a heavy barrel and a big sight rib like a PPC revolver but why the hell someone would build a snubnose like that I have no idea. Anyway, it's some flavor of S&W that has an aftermarket barrel & sight rib installed.

They donโ€™t bore the cylinder and then time those.. they bore the initial cylinder holes through the barrel with the whole revolver in a jig with the cylinder installed then take the cylinder out and use a the holes alignment to guide the tool to bring it up to size to fit the cartridge.. part of why the timing on those is so good. Primo revolver.

Bought one from Centerfire and sold it pretty quickly after getting it. The front sight loosened and had to be loctited down after shooting it one time. I'm not one to complain about triggers, but the trigger was pretty damn bad. The cylinder was also prone to locking up. I spent around $350 on one of the better quality ones, so I can only imagine how bad a real lemon would be. Overall would not recommend despite how cool they look.

>>63999047
From a solely aesthetic perspective it looks pretty ridiculous. Never shot a revolver with a dot so I can't comment on the actual effectiveness of it.

I got them from this guy on GB for probably more money that it was worth.
I notice small parts are slowly becoming available again.
