The best feature of the f35 is that they all have a recall mode. They're being sold to countries around the world but any time America needs to they can recall them to fly to the nearest american airbase.

I don't know, I can't find any reliable info online. But with vid rel to me it looks okay for what is essentially just a AWACS interceptor. (no real A/G capability)

and yeah that is a slow as fuck turning circle if you've ever seen any other fighter aircraft at work.
it's not surprising given the design of the aircraft, it's just not optimized to be a good dogfighter.

Ultimately the F-35 is highly sought after by a whole host of countries and is being produced in large numbers to fill the demand. Something that would not be happening were there better options on the market.
