I dunno anon, from what I remember reading about the taliban is that the main weapon for producing casulaties against the coaltion was

>RPG + recoiless rifles
>heavy machine guns + PK machine gun
>SVD's
>AK's and other rifles, mainly used for mass supression in support of other weapon. The only time the AK was deadly was in very close ambush situations and even in that case the PK was more devestating since it could mow down a whole squad in one belt (happend a few times to the afghan national police).
