Ok so China says "fuck it we ball" and starts to give Russia large numbers of weapons systems and aid, similar the amount that Europe and America is giving to Ukraine, around the range of tens of billions of USD a year. They, like Europe/America, aren't giving Russia their high end stuff, so no J-20s or AWACS. How would the war change and what chinese weapon systems would have the best bang for their buck and have the largest effect on the war?

I think that China giving Russia a way to do SEAD and gain air superiority would probably the biggest thing that would change the course of the war. China also has an insane amount of SHORAD that would help to alleviate the drone threat on the frontline. But there's not much that China can give Russia to help clear massive minefields, so I feel like the frontline would still barely budge due to the minefields. Maybe Chinese MRLS? But Russia already has a large amounts of MRLS so I don't think this make a difference. Chinese drones are already a common sight on both sides, so again I don't think it will change the war much.

Thoughts?

If "china" decided to coup the american international system, they wouldn't sell weapons. There would be financial fuckery gong on, that would see russia have access to billions of more dollars.
You would see russia more financially secure, which would allow a tighter grip on russia, allowing them to really go into full war economy without fear of society imploding. Any new military related equipment would come from russia itself.

Kinda depends on whether or not there are boots on the ground, really. If China decided to send a few thousand """advisors""" to Ukraine then the US and Europe would probably respond in kind and they'd bring their toy box with them.

Let's be honest, Russia is gonna to lose a whole bunch of land to china eventually, it won't be this decade, or even the next, but at this rate, do you really think Russia can hold itself together for the next century? But in my magical scenario, China decides it's worth it to start sending serious amounts of hardware to Russia for reasons.

>wait years for Russia to produce enough hardware
>Or just send in everything within a few months

China also gets to test it's weapons in real combat situation too and they get money and large influence over Russia. The only reason why they haven't actually started selling Russia a massive amount of weapons, is due to fears of western sanctions, otherwise we'll 100% see dozens of J-10s and hundreds of type 99s in Russia already. You think Russia likes to buy weapons from NK or Iran?
