Did you know that the US and their puppet state in Columbia have been fighting communist revolutionaries for 6 (six) decades? Imagine if China started fighting rebels in North Korea, the spam on this would be unbearable. Let's talk about the FARC, what tactics do they employ and what weapons do they have
>>64006964 (OP)"Communism" in Latin America is schizophrenic and opportunist. You're treating Colombians like noble savages if you think everyone who isn't toting a gun for FARC is an American puppet. The guy Pinillas couped was a Nazi sympathizer.
>>64006964 (OP)Down here "communist" are some kind of spin off of the maoism (too undeveloped) trying to suck as much resources as possible of the rest and coup d'etat the government to streamline thief.
The FARC stopped to be related to the retarded ideals and is just about power, power that comes from drugs and the things I mentioned above, like a simple mafia.

>>64006964 (OP)I thought they demobilized? Either way, the FARC was numero uno... with a bullet. They also liked to walk bombs into their targets concealed on donkeys. The problem was they never took power because they liked things to be screwed up. It was good for business, er, I mean social progress. But someone had to pay for the Land Cruisers the leaders would roll around in with their young female FARCettes. The journalist Robert Young Pelton visited them around 20 years ago and met various characters like "Mono Jojoy" and "Timoshenko." When he asked Jojoy about why they didn't fix the potholes, he said "that's the government's job" which led the journalist to tell Mr. Jojoy to stop "pumping that Marxist sunshine up my ass."

>>64007039>I thought they demobilized? They signed a peace agreement in 2016 but it fell apart
>They also liked to walk bombs into their targets concealed on donkeys. Kek. Donkey bombs have been a thing since the Civil war afaik. Is there any records of it backfiring?
>The problem was they never took power because they liked things to be screwed up. American troop deployments is almost guaranteed if they actually started taking hold of towns and cities. They missed their chance by failing to take control of Columbia when the revolution first began

>>64007039> I thought they demobilized? Kinda, the main group did but not everyone wanted to give up fighting the long war and decided to keep on doing Maoist-Narco shit inna jungle. I suspect the same thing is going to happen too the PKK now that they have announced that they are going to disband.

To be fair, today's FARC is not entirely the same group that fought before the peace agreement, and they are commonly referred to as "FARC dissidents," with one faction being members who did sign the peace agreement but abandoned it, declaring the Colombian government had failed to do their part of the deal, and the other group having never signed the agreement to begin with. These are "La Segunda Marquetalia" (The Second Marquetalia) and Estado Mayor Central (General Central State? They are usually referred to as EMC for short). They are not even the only ones at play, with right-wing paramilitary groups still active and the other communist guerrillas actively fighting both FARC dissidents and the state being the ELN guerrillas.
Basically the whole internal conflict in that country just evolved into an even worse disjointed mess than it was already before.
They have started to use drones and almost entirely AR platform rifles, with AKs now being rare to see whenever they get caught.
