You need more time and rounds to completely destroy a building with regular artillery, you set up a sturm tiger back in like 5kms, give it modern tech and infantry on the ground can just paint the building they want destroyed and in less than an instant its not there anymore.

Its longer than that, around 15 minutes and the crane is used for reloading the vehicle itself not the gun. It has an internal hoist at it's roof to assist in moving the 350kg shells.

It has a lot of explosives, but the shell is not strong enough to penetrate thick concrete.
Even a large HEAT warhead would only create a small hole deep inside.

The Sturmtiger's projectile only carried 270lbs of explosives out to 6km. The unitary warhead version of the GMLRS carries 200lbs out to 92km with better accuracy than the Sturmtiger had at 6km.
