What attachments would you get for a 20' inch CAR-15?

A scope that mounts to the carry handle like an Acog or a Colt 4x20. Maybe a flashlight that mounts to the bayonet lug.

That's not all that unusual. All the ELR shooters drop at least as much if not double on a scope than they do the rifle it's mounted to. Good glass has more of a say in if you're gonna hit your target than anything else

I'd get a drop in quad rail, a PEQ-2 or similar vintage LAM, an old surefire with an IR filter, any old VFG, a M7, and a gooseneck rail with your pick of red dot. Ignore all the IR stuff if you don't have some kind of NV unit to putz around with

Get rid of the stupid carry handle..Put a dot+magnifier or 2x7/3x9 on it. Light is always good. Moe Handguard. Better sling/attach points. All this is assuming the one pictured is yours

Lol, no. Acogs aren’t worth anywhere near their asking price. Hell, you can get a decent thermal scope for the price of the 6x machine gun acog. They’re the Supreme of optics.
