I actually partially agree, I think anyone 21 and over should be able to carry their own handgun regardless of rank or AFSC (MOS/rate if you aren't AF) however we should still issue pistols because it's better for standardization, if everyone has the same weapon it's easier for example to toss your buddy an extra mag or part, but I think if you're issued a pistol than you carry that and keep your own personal weapon concealed and only use that if you're out of ammo or your issued weapon is out of commission.

I understand that historically people drank "table beers" which were beverages with the bare minimum amount of alcohol to kill bacteria so you could safely hydrate without getting diarrhea
but nowadays it's just a shitty drink that tastes bad
I'd rather be drinking a tea, lemonade, or something like mead if I need a cold beverage

If you are in hampton roads, visit the Fort Monroe museum (it is small, maybe an hour of time, but it is neat walking around a star fort, it was free last I checked but they did ask for donations) or the Mariner's Museum (not strictly military but there is quite a bit of stuff that is military, be prepared to spend 4 or more hours if you want to look/read everything, it only costs like $1 to get in).
