It doesn't deliver the best ROI. Drone vids are confirmation bias. You don't see the thousands of flights that either result in a lost drone or no action. Javlins are better than FPV's and all indirect fires are better than FPV's. The only advantage drones offer is the one the US military is investing in (heavily) and that's recon/situational awareness.
