Since Jugoslavia is no more, the threat from the east has ceased as well. From the north there's Austria and Switzerland, and we can safely assume they ain't gonna stir shit either. The rest is sea, and italian navy is plenty capable of taking on whatever Africa or the ME can throw at it.
