The wireless link has problems (emcon and jamming) and is limited to 200m unless you set up microwave repeaters, doctrine is not to use wireless except in emergencies. The radar of modern long range SAMs on the other hand (92N6 in this case) is the extremely expensive and hard to manufacture part.
