Sure, but depends on which hole in the fox you use

Depends, but you generally still want to have one rather than not

Please. Stop asking this stupid question about everything. Just because thing is not a perfect counter to other thing does not mean it's not viable on the modern battlefield.

A foxhole might not be that effective at stopping an FPV from hugging you but if it hits your buddy in the next hole over instead you should be ok. He's in a hole, you're in a different hole, shrapnel probably isn't going to get you.

You know that you can put a roof on a foxhole, right? A couple logs, some dirt, and maybe a few branches and it just looks like a pile of sticks.

No. Is much better to stand straight up, completely exposed in the path of bullets, shell fragments and yes, drones. That is why you are not issued with shovel. Now get in assault lada, comrade.

I wanted a better pic of a covered foxhole but couldn't find one on short notice.

NO, it's OVER for foxholecels, if your defensive position isn't covered by AT LEAST four layers of wire mesh and a piece of corrugated sheet metal, you might as well just put your rifle in your mouth and end it yourself.

That's more of a mortar thing. For drones you're more likely to be overlooked because a man in a foxhole looks a lot like just another pile of dirt in a field full of piles of dirty.
