If I had to chose between wasting money on a Su-57 or J-35 I would 100% chose the latter. The Chinese also prove themselves against the Rafale, meanwhile Russian trash gets downed on a daily basis in Ukraine.

Certainly right now as Russia has need for their shit for themselves as well as their stuff going team rocket.
In terms of quality I wouldn't distrust the chinese stuff any more than russian. Probably a bit less so but I also acknowledge that I am in no position to make an informed decision in this matter.
