I have lost interest in collecting/shooting firearms at this point. I've either sold almost all my guns or gifted them to family. The only guns I still own at this point are a mossberg 500 for home defense and an original lcp that I sometimes carry. This hobby has been ruined, especially post covid. There are just too many retards, consoomers, boomers, and fags.
>every new handgun has to be compared to a competition pistol and looks like a gaming pc/cross fit equipment
>everything is min maxxing/tactitard LARP (good luck finding a basic gun you want at a lgs, you can't.)
>redditors literally saying that a glock 43x is not enough for carry because it only holds 10 rounds and that you need a reload, optic, and wml
>constant shilling of bad products by guntubers and other industry whores
>milsurp has pretty much dried up
>boomers hoarding lots of good older guns
>2020s gun culture somehow simultaneously way too casual about firearms but also neurotic and gay
Quality control from "reputable" manufacturers is absolutely in the gutter.
>bought maybe one or two guns since covid that haven't had something wrong with them due to poor manufacturing
>constant adding of "new" features like optics cuts or comps, but producing less and less fundamentally solid or interesting guns
>everything is strikerslop because it is cheapest to produce
>companies like PSA, Ruger (for their semi auto pistols at least), and all turkshit have created a race to the bottom by being shilled as "JuSt aS gOoD"
>if an interesting gun/version of a gun is theoretically in production good like finding it because hardly any are made and the lgs certainly doesn't have it
>this is likely never going to improve
>no one will admit this because they are emotionally invested/need to validate their purchase
The industry realized during covid that they can just churn out poorly made guns/slop because most newfags don't actually shoot and won't notice or care.
