9mm > .40

The only real benefit to .40SW is it's resistant to price fluctuations.
9mm goes from 15cpr to 70 cpr really quick when the stupids come out and buy thousands of rounds cause "omg the world's gonna end"
Nobody buys .40SW, so it's always around 30cpr

While everyone else pointlessly gripes about your caliber choice, can I just point out that while that gun is very reliable, it's also pretty large. Is that going to be your CC or are you planning on getting something more compact later?

Then all I can recommend is that you get your concealed carry gun first and then your larger gun for home defense, target shooting, open carry, or whatever else you want it for.

Yeah, make the striker assembly and striker safety from case hardened MIMed steel and check each part to see if they are in spec.
Probably would eat ~$10 of profit per handgun, but it's what glock does for their MIMed parts (even though their safety plunger is hardened milled steel)
Also tightening up the slide frame fit could help it stop jumping the sear.

Well then, don't buy 9mm during panic buys them? Buy them in bulk before that and you ain't gonna have a problem
